Dear Friend of the Jerome Lejeune Foundation,
I was overjoyed when the Pennsylvania House passed the Down Syndrome Protection Act in April, but now it’s about to come to a vote in the Pennsylvania Senate. It is critical that this legislation outlawing the abortion of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome becomes law.
Please read the letter I wrote this week to the state senators, urging them to support this legislation. I encourage you to also contact these legislators, especially if you are a Pennsylvania resident.
The Pennsylvania senators are receiving incredible pressure to vote against this life-affirming bill. We see this in many other states – most of which offer no protection for the unborn with Down syndrome.
Babies in Pennsylvania can currently be aborted up to 24 weeks gestational age. After being diagnosed with Down syndrome, many babies are aborted solely on the basis of their diagnosis.
That’s why we need your help to continue fighting for their lives.
Will you consider making a donation today?
Only with your support can we advocate to change hearts, minds, and laws, not just in Pennsylvania, but throughout the entire United States. We cannot stop fighting for the lives of the unborn with Down syndrome.
P.S. Any amount helps as we stand for unborn babies with Down syndrome. Please give today!
Please note that each donation is tax deductible. The Jerome Lejeune Foundation USA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
