Alaska Down Syndrome Network We are a parent support group – parents who have banded together to share our experiences and help each other learn along the journey of raising our children and our “special” child. We have no staff, or office, or professionals running the program. We do as there are people with a passion to do, so “services” may vary over time.Alaska Down Syndrome Network

Arkansas Down Syndrome Association Arkansas Down Syndrome Association (ADSA) was incorporated in 2004 and is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. ADSA is dedicated to advocating for healthy, inclusive, and productive lives for people with Down syndrome (DS). We serve our DS community by providing free events and services for families across Arkansas—as well as sponsor awareness and educational materials for schools and communities. We are an all-volunteer organization guided by a diverse board of directors made up of medical professionals, members of our local business community and parents of children with DS. 21 Down 21 Down membership is free and is open to any family who has a loved one with Down syndrome or other developmental disablity. Our activities are geared to the young and old, so no matter the age of your loved one with a disability we welcome you to join 21 Down.21 Down
21 Down hosts an event every month for our families to enjoy. Whether it is a dance, holiday party, quarterly meeting, day at the beach, day at Storybookland or a family activity we encourage all of our families to join in the fun! The children get to socialize together while the parents can network with other parents who are going through the same experiences they are raising a child with a disability. All of these events are free of charge to our members. -
Bringing Up Down Syndrome BUDS is a non-profit organization in North Alabama that has existed for over 16 years and boosts almost 400 members!Bringing Up Down Syndrome
BUDS is there to offer support, encouragement, and personal experience to these families as well. BUDS wants to help each family see that their child is still a precious gift… just a different gift in a different package. -
Down Syndrome Parents Group of Western New York The Down Syndrome Parents Group of Western New York is a 501c3 non-profit organization which was formed in October of 1979 by a group of parents whom connected through the common bond of parenting children born with Down syndrome. Having found no regional support network available at the time, and little information readily available about the genetic disorder, they decided that such an organization was greatly needed.Down Syndrome Parents Group of Western New York
Since its inception, the group has supported hundreds of families in and around the Western New York area while promoting awareness of Down syndrome, and acceptance of individuals born with Downs. Through a series of annual events which have become a yearly tradition for many families in the area, DSPGWNY has continually expanded awareness of Down syndrome while enriching the lives of the many people whom have taken part.

21 FrienDS 1 FrienDS is a non-profit family and support group that was started by parents with the same interests in mind. We began in 2008 with the hopes to make a difference in the lives of people with Down syndrome, as well as their families, through play dates, family activities, seminars and informational meetings.21 FrienDS
21 FrienDS welcomes all interested in being involved. Although the group mainly meets in the Southeastern, MA area, the families involved are from several areas of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Families may choose to just utilize the website, while others are faithful in attending each outing monthly, and others just attend what they feel is beneficial to their family. -
Black Down Syndrome Association The Black Down Syndrome Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Black families with the resources and support they need for their loved ones with Down Syndrome.Black Down Syndrome Association
Founded in 2022 by two Black mothers who have Black sons with Down Syndrome, the organization works to create a culturally competent, safe space for Black families and their loved ones with Down Syndrome.
At the Black Down Syndrome Association, we strive to create a community of support and understanding and to provide a platform for Black families to share their stories, experiences, and needs. We are committed to advocating for the rights of Black persons with Down Syndrome and to ensure that they are given the same opportunities and respect as everyone else. -
Blessed By Downs BLESSED by Downs was founded by Sheri Dupre’ DeFelice in 2009. Sheri was inspired to create the organization after giving birth to an exceptional set of twins. Her son, Jayce, was born a typical child and her daughter, Olivia, was unexpectedly born with Down syndrome. DeFelice believes Olivia and others like her should be given the same opportunities as Jayce and other typical children.Blessed By Downs
